A Case Report of Anomaly in Liver

Abstract
Developmental variations of anatomy in biliary tract are not uncommon, most of them are extraheptic duct and vascular tree.
Liver, although the related organ, is not common site of anomalous developmental variation.
Hypoplasia of hepatic lobe is relatively reported and it is more common in left lobe than right.
Complete absence of left hepatic lobe is extremely rare and only few cases are reported.
Anomaly in gall bladder is recorded in book, such as agenesis of gall bladder, Phrygian cap, floating gall bladder and double gall bladder.
Left-sided gall bladder is extremly rare and only one case can be found in reported literature by authors.
We experienced the extremely rare anomaly, i.e. complete absence of left hepatic lobe and left sided gall bladder in 54 years old female at Department of Surgery, Seoul National University Hospital, and we report this case with the review of literatures up to date.
